Make sure the card to be formatted is in the camera.
Turn on the camera.
Press the "Menu" Button on the back of the camera functions.
(Move thru the different menus by using the Up/Down/Side/Side "Arrow" keys on the right of the camera back)
Hilight the "Wrench" (Tools) function. Click "OK"
Hilight "Format Memory Card". Click "OK"
Choose "Yes".
Done!
Turn on the camera.

Hilight "Format Memory Card". Click "OK"
