I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit but it still holds a special place in my heart & prayers. We should all pray for the city in which we live, wherever they are. No picture would represent the dinky town I live in now, so I chose this picture of Detroit to go with the verse. The verse is really out of context, but at least it represents the truth that there are believers in almost any city.
If we had to bargain with God like Abraham did with Sodom, I'm hoping that we could at least find ten.

That is thought provoking and a nice image to accompany it. I think we should pray for our cities as well as our leaders (on all levels). Somehow we are more caring about the poor and disenfranchised of second world nations than we are about neighbors and those in our towns who suffer.
