OK. It's a I'm bored Sunday. So here it is get ready to hate me. There are a few things on this site that drive me crazy.
1 People who post pictures of their kids.
Sorry, I don't care to see pictures of you kids, grand kids or relatives kids. It's also not safe to post you kid
shots on line.
2 Water marks, they drive me nuts. Some are so big they block out your picture. Do you really think someone is
going to take your picture?
3 WOW your picture is great, no it's not it sucks. Deal with it it's not good. It's out of focus. There's no subject,
framing is wrong and why would you post this??
4 The 10 or so people that have to comment on every post. There are posters out there that over 30,000 posts
They never have any thing to add (most cases). Please shut up. We don'y need to hear what you have to offer.
5 There are some questions asked in the post, that seem to be way off base. I don't know if they are planted . I
. hope not, but I will help anyone I can.

I totally agree with your comments, kurtinnnj. I would add a #6 - This is a photography site, so we should stick to photography postings. Who cares about political comments or any other unrelated-to-photography subjects - it just gets so boring.

I agree, but there is a "Non Photography" section. And interestingly some posters who have never put up a picture.
One wonders if they are paid to do so or if they are just -

trolls.

You have almost 5000 posts. You maybe the only response that I post. You are one of those that I have a problem with. Do we really need to hear your opinion on every post? But, your not as bad as others.

I understand - but why would you have a non-photography section on a photography site?

Those are narrowly kept in General Chit Chat. If you don't want to see it, don't go there.

Yes and no...it isn't safe to put pictures of kids, especially if you show your location, online - there are a lot of sickos out there who troll looking for kids. But if you don't post your location or real names, this is a pretty small - compared to the internet - group.

It's been a problem before you and I came, I remember reading about someone taking shots from here and selling them online.

Rude is rude even under the disguise of criticism - yes some aren't great, but how about some positive input on how to fix it. And if you really don't like it and can't add anything positive to help the shooter, go on to the next post.

So don't read their posts, I'm sure you recognize their avatars, just pass 'em by. Some of us appreciate the dialog.

Some things are definitely rehashed over and over, like "my first dslr" but those are usually brand new members who don't know the exact same question was asked and answered on the next page. And the Canikon feud is admittedly getting old...we all shoot what we think is the "Best" camera we can afford or we wouldn't be shooting it.

What is really funny about this post is that Imagemeister has been on the site since November 2011. He has averaged about 160 posts per month. You on the other hand, have posted 249 in your first month. Give it time. You are well on your way to becoming that which you find so annoying.
