Hiking a bike trail yesterday we came upon this bike jump. The landing area looks problematic!

It's not the drop that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the end.

Yeah, not something I'd want to jump with a bike. I think the youth today are a little more daredevil than when I was young. Or maybe I just don't remember it well.

You are right, Rook about the title. Sorry to mislead you! I would like to wait below the jump for a shot but afraid if I startled a biker really bad things might happen!

I agree. There were lots of similar "bumps" on the path. Most were piles of dirt and many in a close series of two or three. There are bike trails and other jumps like this one with decent landing areas. This one is just pure scary! From tracks it looked like it may have been used. Maybe moved from somewhere else. After traffic builds up this spring I think I will take another look. It is not far from our normal hiking trail.
