A practice shot from my first Milky Way shoot from a few months ago that prompted me to look for a better night lens.
You can see definite coma exhibited by this lens,(triangle shaped stars), particularly in the stars at the bottom periphery of the lens.

I believe the larger round stars are possibly falsely enlarged by atmospheric moisture and overexposure.
I had another shot in similar conditions where people have mistaken Venus for the moon.
This is stunning. Clarity, colour, exposure
How could it get any better?
