Has anybody read/used Mastering Lightroom by Andrew Gibson (book 1 The Library Module and book 2 The Develop Module)? Thoughts? Reactions? Recommendations? Comparison to other LR how to books? I am a beginner with LR.

I have no experience with that one, but I do have, and can recommend, the Adobe Lightroom Classroom in a Book, available from many book stores and online resellers, such as Amazon. Outrageously thorough and intuitive.

Haven't read his Lightroom book but have other books by him from his Craft and Vision series and found them practical, readable and liked his style as an author/teacher.
A decent LR book is essential to getting off to a good start with LR. Even once you get up and going, there will be more to learn. It is a very powerful package and most of us only utilize a tiny percentage of its possibilities.
