I'm going to guess the Green family had no idea these stock holdings were buried deep inside their mutual-funds as part of their 401K's or other investments. Do all of US know every detail of our own investments? I'm sure some do not.

Pharmaceutical industry stocks are extremely lucrative for their dividends. Unless your stock advisor gleans for a prohibited stock in the portfolio - which only a handful of 401K's do - dividends and growth are what must investors seek. I specifically look for DRIPS so that I can invest in monthly, anticipating growth in dividends. I do NOT analyze the mix of product within each DRIP - only want stocks with high dividend and growth. I'm not an activist investor or green gremlin; I want dividend and growth.

As cited by the article, "The Timothy Plan and the Ave Maria Fund, for example, screen for companies that manufacture abortion drugs, support Planned Parenthood, or engage in embryonic stem cell research." Kudos to those funds. When $73 million is being managed, hire someone to do that. To that average investor, social activist or green investor, the effort is often just not worthwhile.

They or thier advisors should have known, in light of the fact that they are bringing a US Supreme Court Case related to the same. These folks cant claim they're like "most of us".

A lot of their merchandise is from China. This evidently doesn't worry them that the women who make their products may have been made by the state to get an abortion. So much for religious beliefs over profits!
