The Parable of the Lost Sheep
15 Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. 2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.
3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesnt he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep. 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
It would seem that I have come upon a Christian Order that practices the vow of silence. . .24 views, and not a single comment? I clearly will be spending my time and efforts posting anywhere else than in this forum in the future.
Ok, you caught me. a few of those views were mine. I keep thinking about this image and then plan to come back when I have a thought I can put in words. You know I love your sheep/lamb images. And you KNOW I admire your artistic pp work. I think I like the ones you made more monotone and simplistic. I was, in my mind, thinking about the bold colorization and decide if I liked it with the narrative of Luke. Now after my third look, I like it and find it to linger on in my head.

Hey brother, it's hard to add to the words of Jesus, but always a joy to hear them. A great message completed by a well done image! Thanks

This is a particularly meaningful image (and well done) since the name of my home church is "Good Shepherd." We give thanks for being found and saved.
