Please give me some help on how to capture the beauty of this phenomemon. Never saw this before and it was just awesome. Used a Sony a55 with kit lens 18-55mm, f/9, 1/640. Should have, could have done better.

Wow! The only thing that I can think of in this situation is HDR. That's the way to go. Then you get all of the highlights and shadows. Beautiful shot.
