On the discussion side of this forum there is a post about the upcoming moon shot opportunity. I heard about this on the radio today and pointed my SX20IS towards the heavens.

I like the picture - is this during the eclipse? Also, in your technical info, I am confused as to how a 100mm is a 560 mm equivalent in 35mm format

Right - I didn't recognize the camera model or I should have thought of that. I am used to dealing with a 1.6 factor on my Canon 60D. I never even think about crop factors on my Panasonic back up DMC-LX5. Thanks for the explanation.
