Perhaps he learned a lesson from his little experiment, "you can fool some of the people some of the time but not all the people all the time".
This excerpt from the article is pretty funny:
Cruz's experience with social media outreach is reminiscent of a couple of other high-profile efforts that didn't turn out the way their sponsors expected. In October, Fix the Debt, the plutocrat-backed front group for deficit-cutters, staged a question-and-answer session on Twitter, evidently hoping to instill the younger generation with its message that Social Security and Medicare were a plot by seniors to land the millennial generation in the poorhouse.
Didn't play out that way. The group's Twitter feed was inundated with impertinent queries ("What's more popular at your board meetings, the blood of workers or tears of homeless seniors? Asking for a friend.")
JPMorgan Chase plainly failed to learn from Fix the Debt's experience when it scheduled a Twitter Q&A with one of its investment banking chiefs a month later. As sample questions rolled in during the run-up to the chat ("Did you always want to be part of a vast, corrupt criminal enterprise or did you 'break bad'?"), the bank hastily canceled the event.
Saw this yesterday and had to smile... Very few agreed with Cruz with several blaming the shutdown on him :) We all know how he denied that.
And surprise, enrollment actually hit the projections from the CBO, in spite of the screwed up rollout. At least now the Republicans won't be able to use the ACA as a political tool in the midterms, and maybe Fixed News will stop talking about the death spiral that Obamacare is supposedly in. It's here, it ain't going away, and PEOPLE LIKE IT!!!!! Get used to it conservatives. We stole your idea from you, and you let us run with it and we made it work! Hah!!!!
And how long will it be before some rightie parrots the Republican talking point that the administration "cooked the numbers," as Lindsey Graham and John Borasso alleged Sunday without a shred of proof, just wild accusations.

Why does anyone care what that Canadian wants to know. He was born in Canada to a Canadian mother and a Cuban father. Why is he even in this country.

Go ahead and tells us any numbers, you can't! Something simple like mathematics are not available to those of us who get to pay for all this, though it should be a simple matter. Now we know the numbers they want us to see, apparently- exactly 7,000,000 people signed up, not 6,999,999, or 7,000,001... kind of a made up number then isn't it? And this makes you wet in your pants with glee... what about the important things like, how many have paid, how many have already missed a payment? how many qualify for subsidies as opposed to thise who will pay for those with subsidies... How many realize that they are in effect- self insured up to the first $4,000??? Need stitches, and the emergency room cost you $2200- you pay $2200! need stitches agin next year, $2200 again, because deductibles re-set at the end fo each year! That is how a deductibles work after all... How many have tried to see a doctor or have had any procedure under Obamacare... so you are cheering for the number of people who did the very simplest of things... sign up! ROFL Impressive.
LOL It isn't over till the fat lady sings and you're not going to like the song and neither will I.
