similar but do I see variable pitch blades? The reflection in #2 catches my eye

You bet they're variable pitch. That's one of the features that made the P-51 such a hot rod and one of the best fighters of WWII

#2. I see more different colors in #2 and it still has reflections. I see Hamilton Standard Variable Props (recognize the decals on the blades) and the Ram Air Inlet Scoop just below the nose cone. P-51? Maybe. Nice shot, keep looking up!
