Your Shoes Can Tell Your Age! Don't know why it works but it does... Your shoes can tell you your age - fun ! I don't know how this works but it does! Who thinks this stuff up? This is mind boggling! Your shoes can tell you your age; try this and see:
1. Take your shoe size.(only whole sizes)
2. Multiply it by 5.
3. Add 50.
4. Multiply by 20 ....
5. Add 1013 if you have NOT had a birthday yet ---
and add 1014 if you already had a birthday this year..
6. Subtract the year you were born.
The first digit is your shoe size, while the last 2 digits are your age.
Tried it and it worked for me
Not even close but it certainly made me younger.
I missed the 6th step the first time I tried this. When I finally followed the directions it worked, but it takes the first two digits to give me my shoe size. Fun!

Your Shoes Can Tell Your Age! Don't know why it wo... (

It worked for me, and I tried 3 different shoe sizes, but my age stayed the same.
I think that it is one of those things that will only work this year with those numbers. Next year it will only work with 1014 and 1015.

Yep- simple math, people! 'Disguised to look like magic.
Next time your teenager yells, "why do I have to learn that? When will I ever use that?!" remind them that those who do not understand math and/or science are doomed to be gullable and even believe in magic to explain what they can't wrap their little heads around...

if Y is shoe size & Z is the year you were born:
your age = 2014 - Z (the year you had your last birthday)
ORyour age = 2013 - Z (born after today's date)
so, (5Y + 50)20 + 1014{or 1013} - Z = 100 times your shoe size + your age
which evaluates to: 100Y + 1000 + 1014{or 1013} - Z = 100 times your shoe size + your age
which evaluates to: 100Y + 2014{or 2013} - Z = 100 times your shoe size + your age
which evaluates to:
100 times your shoe size + your age = 100 times your shoe size + your agefirst 2 digits will be age, next 1 or 2 will be shoe size, works for ages 10-99
Yes but it didn't get my shoe size correct.
