We have a delightfully old fashioned feed and seed store right in town. If you've got outdoor needs, bird feeding needs, gardening, pet or livestock needs...they have all this and so much more. The place is a treasure.

Really nicely done HT. Is this HDR and Topaz simplify? I really like it...

Thanks very much, Ronbo. It's Topaz Simplify and I might have added poster edges in PSE12. No HDR.

It really is, Linda. And of course, things change seasonally so there's always something different to see when you go there. I love this place. We buy all our bird feeding supplies there.

I haven't done that, but I'll bet they would like to see them. I'll have to print out a few photos I've taken in their store for them. Thanks for the idea!!

Another beauty HT. I love these kind of stores. When I was growing up, my father ran a hardware store. I have fond and sometimes painful memories of playing in the nail bins. I know it sounds weird, but I liked the noise they made when taking a handful of nails and dropping them back into the bin...nothing like it:)

James, you are not alone. I know that noise myself. :-P

In addition to this terrific feed and seed store, we also have an old-fashioned hardware store in town, with a wooden floor and everything. It's not very big, but it seems you can always find what you need there. Off to the side they have a room full of nail bins. Also, screws of every type and assorted hardware. If you want one nail, you can buy one nail. It's like a time machine to go in there and see all those bins.

We are so lucky that this store and the old-fashioned hardware store are so much loved that they are still hanging on. Long may they wave!
