Nice job. I have a Nikon P600 with 60x optical zoom. I'll have to try the same pictures. Thanks for posting.....

I do use a tri-pod and a Green Laser finder .

Thank you for including picture; that looks like a tracking tripod/device. Interesting what can be obtained with a camara these days. Plus knowing where to look, of course.

Great shots.....this proves it: The SX50 is out of this world!

No tracking involved. Look South and up 35 degrees for Saturn 4-6 am.
Jupiter is higher up about 60 degrees earlier like 8:00 pm. This is Kansas City
time and location.
