I think the man may have an idea there, but I believe we need to sell from our REAL reserve, the one that's still in the ground! Selling from the reserve in the salt domes would be, at best (IMHO), a temporary fix and short lived. How long till we're back in the same spot again?
Sounds like Soros is trying to give the dems an "out" to prove their guy has the power to "punish" the big, bad bear before the November elections. Just my opinion.

The U.S. and its European allies seek to rebuke Russia for taking over the Crimea region of Ukraine, which 85% of the Crimean people voted for. Why punish a one country for taking over another when the majority of people voted to return to their “home” country.

Now I personally don't care if the folks in the Crimea want to reestablish ties to "Mother Russia". It's the thousands of troops massing at the borders of Ukraine that have me worried....and beyond! After all, the boy king stated yesterday that Georgia does not want NATO membership, when in fact they do. That's like a green light to vlad the invader. Tapping the emergency oil reserves won't do a thing to stop him if he wishes to keep on going, whereas being energy independent could have a definite effect.(IMHO)

Nothing of substance will work unless the EU gets tough WWII style.
