I"m considering purchasing the Nikon SB 910 Speedlight, to use with my Nikon D800, does anyone any experience with this new speedlight from Nikon, and with a D800??
I have the SB-910 and I really like it. I shoot with a D7100.

Good morning. I specifically like the ease of use and the commander control. Good luck.

I use 3 SB800s with my D800, they work very well, the D800 is in commander mode. The Nikon creative lighting system handles the multiple flashes flawlessly, even when they all have softboxes. The SB910 should work equally well, I just had one SB800 with the D700, so getting two more of the same flash seemed to make sense.
If I shoot 10-20 shots rapidly, the flashes do get "tired" (I guess they think they're overheating), and I need to pause for a minute before shooting again. The camera knows they won't fire, and so the shutter release won't work. It beats taking 5 more pictures before I realize they are all black.
thanks , for your valuable feedback, David
You will be satisfied with the SB 910-- a little on the spend y side but very user friendly. Nikon's creative lighting system book may help some-- I use a SB 900 and a SB 700 with one of them as a master and the others as remotes-- all controllable but Nikon requires a (Line of sight) unless you have wireless remotes. Once you get on to the controls it is a piece of cake.
