These are terrific and interesting images. I love how clearly you show their nest - what architects and builders they are!

I love eagle pictures. I've gotten quite a few shots in Africa of fish eagles, which are dead ringers for our bald eagles. On boating safaris, our guides have whistled and enticed them out of their perch on top of a tree and we've been blessed to get some great action shots of them swooping down and snagging a fish our guide had thrown for them from the surface of the water. Good job!

You got some nice shots!!
Where is this? Maybe, not too far from me and I can get to it.
Also, Have they had any eaglets, yet?
Thanks!
Pat

Thank you very much Linda. I just hope high winds don't get them this year.

Great shots. Your capture of the cottonwood tree and the blue sky really enhance your shots. Looks like the eagles rejected, at least this year, the man made nesting tower that was built. Just hope this tree doesn't fall over. I hope to get to Waco early next week to get some shots of this pair.

Thank you for looking and the great comments Longhorn. They will use these old trees as long as they can I guess. You will need a boat or kayak to get to where the nest is.
