It's a shame their employees are on welfare while they freely give thousands to political parties. I seldom shop at Walmart's because of this...I can pay extra to a company whose employees are paid and treated better. Besides, it makes me feel good. :)

thats why i refuse shop there. employees have to take ssi.
while they have to choose which jet to fly to europe for holiday.

The Walton's are a lucky family, not that any of the current bunch worked for any of the money. It'd be nice if they were better to employees. I agree with what you say, DP.

i am happy for their good fortune. but not on the backs of employ's.

Too bad that Walmart cannot take a leadership role in providing decent benefits to employees. They strategically place themselves in the market to do business with people with limited resources. And they do well. I choose to support local businesses that support people and communities as much as possible. Walmart is never a choice for me due to its ongoing choice to buy influence as opposed to supporting people.

Thank you for your info dirtpusher. I agree with others here; they could treat their employees better. All that donated money could have helped employees more decently feed and clothe themselves.
