Sigma stuck focus ring - help!

Does anyone know if there is an easy fix for a stuck ring on a 28-105 f2.8-4 aspherical with a Sony mount? The lens worked fine last time I used it, but today when I mounted it it wouldn't focus properly. Even off the camera, it will only turn from infinity down to about 10 feet.
I love this lens, but I don't know what it would cost to have repaired (probably more than it's worth). I'm pretty good tinkering with stuff like this, but I'd need instructions or a video to watch if I'm going to try the repair myself.
I attached an image so you can see why I like it. It's very sharp even pushed all the way out and wide open, the color is great, and it has a very interesting bokeh. Any suggestions? Thanks!
