Welcome to the Hog, Steve. Lots of recently retired here who are getting serious about their photography. The great thing about it is there is lots to keep you busy and there is always something new to learn. ;)

Thanks for welcomes. Grampy, you can join the club. That is a fine camera. Am attaching two duck shots from yesterday. Female Red-breasted Merganser in a Chicago harbor and males from the same place.
