If you use preview they will be erased.
Once I uploaded the photos, I just click on submit / upload and not on preview so I don't know why they are now showing up but not under New Topic. I started the post by clicking on New Topic to get going but when the thread comes up, it just shows regular submission and not under new topic so they don't show up on the photo gallery section and the main forum section at the same time. That is what is throwing me for a loop.

Yes, they are all in JPEG. I don't shoot in any other format

If you post your new topic under Photo Gallery, the topic and your pictures will show up there. If you post your topic and pictures in Photo Analysis, it will show up there. The topic and pictures will only show up in whichever section you post it in. I believe that is to avoid duplication and overloading the forum.
And as I said in my other answer, I hope this helps and is relevant to your question

This answers my question for the most part but what gets me is some of the photos people post show new topic on the main page and show they are photo gallery and mine don't show up on the main page that way as showing new topic in photo gallery and they don't even show new topic in photo gallery when I clicked on new topic to begin with. That is what is confusing me. Thanks for your help.

I don't think your topics will show as "new topic" to you but it does to the rest of us. Each time I saw your photos it showed
"(new topic) title of your topic." Is that what you mean? It can be confusing but I think everything is showing up the way it should.

Glad to know that they are showing up then. I guess it just doesn't say new topic on my end after I posted them. That now solves the issue. Thank you to everyone who helped me on this. I guess this is part of being new to the site. Just have to keep learning new things. This site is set up differently than the previous site I used to be on so maybe that is part of what is throwing me off. Thanks Again.
