I am thrilled Nikon did not try to push the sensor to 25 plus mp. I have the D3X & difference between the D3s, D3, or D700 is non existent in a a 24 by 36 print. We rarely print higher than that. As a matter of fact, the D2hs will produce a 16 x 20 print that has as much clarity and zero artifacts.

I love the D7000 as long as I don't have to take it into low light. Unfortunately, arenas, stadiums, gyms are for the most part, poorly lit and shooting at 3200 ISO is the norm. The D700 and D3s get the job done.....I can't imaging getting another 1 1/2 stop of light....and to me that, by itself, is worth the price.
