Lions in Winter

February was member appreciation month at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. I made a few visits on very cold days and had some of the exhibits and animals to myself. Here's a few of the lions in the snow.

Number 3 is great, would have liked to see a zoom in tight on just the head.

Thanks rlaugh, lenf, stevesottl - you guys are right on the posing although all were mostly just luck and patience. The LPZ in Chicago does have a lot of exhibits with no cages and all of these pictures benefit from no windows or wires.
