I recently took a week's tour of the southern and eastern part of Iceland. These are the first images I have posted, of the animals encountered there.
I have the first album posted to picasa, with a few captions written. I need to find an easier way to resize images quickly! Enjoy!

Wanda, beautiful images. Hope when I go in a few months, that I will be able to get some of equal quality and craft. Where were the horses?

The horses are in random fields and they are used to people just coming up to them and petting, talking to them and taking pictures. Quite tame. Johnathan, our leader, told us it is not against the law to stop and spend some time with the horses when you see them. I get the feeling the horses travel around just about any place they want to on the island, although I noticed in the farming area some fields were fenced....they grow their own hay.
