The truth is you can do something like that, all you need is a camera and an open mind. Just go out and shoot at the trees, beautiful homes, cars, animals, flowers, anything that your eye catches. I'm posting here a couple of pix just to give you an idea... this day it was color that kept catching my eye from the building's reddish tones to the colorful bags of chips. Feel free to give me some feedback on my photos please.

I think my fav. is the bag of chips. the color is very eye catching. Good thought tho about going out and just shooting, having a 'theme' in mind like color is a great idea. Gonna keep it in mind.

If you are referring to the winter scene, I used a fake HDRish fx that I had access to on PICNIC.com free photo editing but if you become a paying member you have access to a lot of cool fx, textures, templates, etc. that you don't have access to as a free member. I have Photoshop Elements and Adobe Premiere Elements as well as other really cool software and I still remain a member of PICNIC.com mostly b/c of the templates for scrapbooking, the pretty picture frames and the holiday fx. I have a ball on this site. Check it out I'm sure you will love this website. I've got a couple other fun websites that I'm a member of, let me know if your interested in frames and creative slideshows. Enjoy!!!

This too is using the fake HDR effect. I purposely over did it for the look achieved.

It drives me so crazy all the time when I see awesome buildings like your shot in New Haven, CT and there are all those wires everywhere making it impossible to get a clean shot.

If I had Photoshop CS5 I would of been able to get rid of them with content aware but I'm not sure if Photoshop Elements 10 offers it. I didn't have it then so it wouldn't of mattered. LOL I edited that photo with Picnik online photo editing. I'm devastated b/c they just informed me that they will be closing as of April19th. If anyone out there is a Picnik fan please go to the Picnik forum site and look for the petition to sign. Let's keep Google+ from closing Picnik.
