Sleeping Lady - Alaska

Across the inlet west of Anchorage is a mountain formation that looks like a sleeping lady. She is laying on her back with her hair flowing to the left and torso to the right. The sun set to the left of the mountain, but the colors were still spectacular.

There is a sleeping lady mountain in Marin County, California too. Mt. Tamalpais, aka the sleeping lady.. Perhaps they are related.

Lovely colours, the mountains would be a lot lumpier if they were modelled on Mrs Wonky. :lol: :lol: :thumbup:

I lived in Marin County for many years, drove my sporty little cars on the mountain, and hiked the back trails all the time. Lovely spot!
