While taking a video, it would suddenly stop taking a video and leave a message that say's "Recording interrupted, please wait, recording blinking." Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

One of two things. The camera has limits on the file size or the sensor is getting hot while taking long videos. Most digital video cameras have a heat sensor that shuts it down when a certain temperature is reached.
