They are all nice images.... I haven't dabbled in B&W IR in several years... I used to shoot B&W IR film back in the day, color IR too...Maybe this will get me into getting out my Hoya R72 filter again.... Are these with a filter or a converted camera ?

Thank you very much for your comment.I also experimentet with IR in the film days, it's a lot easier now. I am using a Panasonic TZ3 P&S camera converted to IR no external filters needed, I had it for a few years now, I think it has 6 megapixels but it serves what I do,

Thanx for commenting. A few years back I bought a P&S camera that was converted to infrared, that's all it can be used, no more color.

Thank you very much. It is a extreme black and white which makes blue sky and clouds stand out.

Where would send a camera to have it converted to infrared. I have a Konica Mimolta Dimage Z6 that I would like to do this too Rich

Oh,Mike! I was going to get off the computer and go do something as it is Friday night...and then I saw "InfraRed" on the headline and had to look and then I stayed. So spectacular.I still want to live in an infrared world.

You would have to check the internet, I bought mine off EBay, check that out. As far I know point and shoot cameras are prefered for conversion. You'll like it, it's amazing how different vegetation shows from black to white and as you can see blue sky and clouds come out great.

Thank you Carlysue, to me infrared has a certain mystic too it, unatural but beautiful, don't you think.
Have a great weekend.

Outstanding shots. You really have a gift, Mike, and have cultivated it to the fullest.

That last one is just spectacular.

Aside from the IR impact, I think your composition is both understanding the subject, and getting the picture across. These photos are wall hangers.
