Beautiful Geoff just love daffodils, you just know Spring has sprung when these appear. Have lots here at home but the last few days we have had strong winds and lots have been flattened  :-)

Thanks very much erbiv, These were at a National Trust property, Clandon Park, a beautiful Georgian formerley Stately Home in Surrey, about 20 miles South West of London, and about 100mts square carpet of Daffs filled the top Lawn in front of the house, and yes It was pretty impressive from any angle you looked.

Wow! That is the largest field of daffodils I have ever seen. It must be beautiful in person. Great shot.

My pleasure Steve, It is a place in the gardens that is quite tranquil, really lovely.

Gorgeous shot, Geoff. The poem made it perfect. You should frame the picture with the poem under it.

Thanks Greg, Most of the beauty in the picture is down to the amazing Gardeners in 17th and 18 Century, who had the vision to plant out these vast estate gardens knowing they would never live to see the beauty and symmetry of there work hundreds of years later.

Thanks a lot Sylvia. You probably noticed a big difference since before you went away?, and your right, thats is the sad thing with Daffs and spring tree blossoms, one good wind and they really suffer.

Yes, not a lot of colour when we left, very pretty to come home to. The nice thing is the difference on an evening, longer daylight !! :-D
