SOOC and after an Edit

There has been so much discussion lately about Post Production or not, how much is too much, and everything else that goes along with it.
I've openly admitted that I use PP on every shot that I show and I figured I'd be a big girl and show you all what my SOOC image looks like and what it ends up looking like after I'm done in PhotoShop.
Not the best shots but the girls really didn't want to have their pictures taken tonight....So this is what we got for our example of SOOC......
* I notice I missed a couple of hairs to be edited out, sorry about that. Please forgive me. :)

It looks very tastefully done. Not too much. You've brightened it and made her huge, beautiful eyes pop. Very nice?. Now please, tell me what you did....

Looks fine to me. I am learning to tame things down a bit. By the way, what does SOOC stand for?

The before and after color ones. It doesn't look like you had to do much, just wanted to know what all you did do....

I'll write up a guide for you tomorrow, it only takes me about 5 minutes (but I have the steps saved as actions to speed me up). I try to get my SOOC as good as possible, it helps a ton.

When I type up the tutorial I'll make sure to confirm that the steps will work in Elements if they don't I'll find a go around for you. I'll send it to you later this evening (after work and the kids are in bed, via PM)

Nicely done...the few hairs you missed does not detract from the portrait and I really like the use of the side lighting.
