I just became aware of a volunteer, charitable network of photographers that may open an opportunity to some of you. For those of you who dont know, my background is 35 years as an Emergency Nurse, Paramedic, and Flight RN.
The Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Organization links photographers with parent whose newborns aren't expected to live more than a few hours, days, etc. They arrange for portraits, family bonding photos and the like to give the family a memory portfolio. The work is voluntary and the prints you provide are free to the family (thats what you agree to if you choose to participate). They have chapters in every US State and 40 countries. I hope you'll give them a look at
http://www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org I have been involved in (too many) cases like this over the years and any memento is such a gift to the family after the initial grief. Thanks for reading guys.

Rocco, the Captain is very involved with LMDTS. It's not new here, but there are many new people here that probably don't know. I'm sure the Captain will have something tol say, or at least who should get involved. ;-)
