Einstein was a genius but i bet he would have had a hard time remembering all there is to photography.

He certainly understood "light speed".

good one Pine1.

He had a good handle on gravity: don't drop your camera or lens.

He also had a deeply developed esthetic that involved the natural world and spirituality

He played violin. He would play with small groups of musicians, oftentimes other physicists and scientists. One time he lost count of the score, and another physicist said to him, "What's the matter with you Einstein? Can't you count?"

Einstein was a prolific writer who would probably have written his own manual on photography. As I recall, he was also one of those people who remembered facts, details, etc., better when he wrote them down, even if he merely jotted down a few facts and never saw the written material again. There is a scientific term for the relationship between writing something (it must be hand written or printed; typing or entering the data on a keyboard is much less effective) and being able to recall the context of what is written. I don't remember the term, but I remember it was almost as long as its definition. Obviously I never wrote it down, not that doing so would have helped me!

It's too bad he wasn't a member of UHH. Anybody that came up with Relativity, could certainly explain to us in detail, DoF, CoC, hyper focus and in a mathematical formula, prove whether vanishing points actually vanish or not!!

But he didn't know the width of a photon.

Vanish, depends on which of the definitions you use.

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/vanish :

: to disappear entirely without a clear explanation

: to stop existing

I read once that someone asked him a question he couldn't answer and when the questioner commented that he was thought to know 'everything', Einstein replied he didn't know 'everything' however he knew how to find anything.
