World Skijoring Championship NW MT

Skijoring takes place as part of a Winter Carnival in a NW MT town and has the largest prize pool($20,000) on the Skijoring race circuit.
A skier is pulled by a horse around a horseshoe-shaped track where the skier has 3 jumps and navigates slalom gates between the jumps. I thought these photos might be of interest. Photos taken with a Canon 7D and 70-200mm f4.0 L lens on this cloudy cold day.

Annnddd.... that bottom photo is why, even though skijoring sounds like fun, I probably won't be riding in that event any time soon, although my friend's brother won the skijoring in Wisdom this year. :)

If you are talking about the forum digest that is emailed everyday, it does not include every new post.
I look at the "newest Posts" at the top of this page and found it there and in the Photo Gallery.
