Hi,
FREE SUNDAY once again. Had a good week and want to thank Judy and Lnightng7 for being there with some cool and unique Challenges. Personally I learned quite a bit and am richer for it.
Here are a few to start out the F.S. that I worked on today.
Feel free to drop by and post what you clicked.

RR, you went to far the other way. Try these settings in LR on the original posted picture. Contrast +100, Highlights -90, Shadows -36, White -24, and Black +40. I know you are using a different version of LR. I did this on LR4. LOL.

Another fun Sunday that starts on Saturday. Is that like going to Mass on Saturday instead of Sunday??? I want to see some straight shots with your new Canon - even though I liked the treatment in #2 especially.

Been thinking about that upcoming challenge...not sure what I can get - or where. Have some ideas, and hope to make them "happen"
Getting to shoot is a challenge Here are some from last week
Another bitter cold day at the coast just before the storm
A little treasure tucked in a cove of seaweed.
Something is living in our "burn dump".
Winter shadows (snow is about 2 ft deep still)
We went to Omaha today. Coming home we went through Wisner, Nebraska's 2nd biggest Irish town, but do you think my "Driver" would stop so I could get a shot of the big shamrock in the intersection? NO :(

Beer Steins on the Wall
Guys were burning the growth in the ditch
These coils decorate a milk white vase!
Decorated Guitar (but no music!!!)
My last for the Sunday Free Day. Will be otherwise occupied tomorrow. Good Night folks.
Low light and moon light tonight. Sorry it unloaded so dark.
An abstract of a blaah zoomed tree from the flower show. Was doing to ditch it but played instead
Same idea, different tree.

Lovely all of them. The first one I really like the subject matter and wonder if there is something that could be done to pop it up some. It looks a little flat and grayish (muddy).

lnightng7, in my youth we had candy that came in spirals like that. I was thinking that is what they were. Guess those would be a little hard on the teeth. LOL

I know what you mean tried a few things and got definition in water and some in end of the beach. It was a very flat gray day too. Will revisit if I can.

Pat, I don't think it needs shot over just lighten a touch, add contrast and darken the tree a little more so the texture stands out. It is a great shot just needs a little work.

How great was that vintage car capture in the 4th image. You should have saved it, but I'm betting you've saved one even better for your challenge. :P
