How do you catch a Polar Bear....

You chop a huge hole in the ice. Then you get a can of peas and line all around the top rim with peas, and sit back and wait. When the polar bear comes along to take a pea you kick him in the ice hole.

Cute...cute..cute...

Love my morning coffee and reading the forum. By the way, I am new on here and I read a lot about taking raw pictures. Exactly what is that, how do you go about taking these types of pictures, and the advantage of raw vs regular pictures. Sorry I am a newbe on my camera, so learning a lot from all of the professionals on here.
Thanks again for all your help in the past and present.

Hi Wolfie, Actually, you should probably post this as an original question from you instead of in the thread of someone else's post. One thing is to do a search in the posts here at UHH. This question has been asked in the past and a lot of good responses have been given. To give you a head start, here is a link that might help explain a bit about RAW vs. JPEG.

Also, would be better to post your question on the Main Photography forum. This is the general chit-chat forum.
