correction I mean Olympus 17mm 1.8 lens I'm considering buying this micro four thirds lens to use with my Olympus EM-5.
Looking for opinions from anyone who has this combination.

One can always have dreams.
That would be a killer lens though!

On a Fuji camera, the 23mm 1.4 (link) has the equivalent angle of view and costs $899.

Just sayin'

Perhaps Cdouthitt could chime in.
I think he owns the lens in question.
It was the one lens I really wanted when I had a m4/3 camera (for a brief time). I have a feeling if I got hold of one, I would still have it.

I only read great reviews like this one.

I noticed you have the fuji X-E1. I got the X-E2 which I love with the 35mm lens and 14mm lens. Eventually it will be converted to Infrared or the EM-5, can't decide now.

Nope I don't own it...however it's supposed to be a decent performer. Had I not owned the 20mm before the 17mm was released, I'd probably own it.

and for all that have not seen this before, this site has an awesome archive of pretty much any lens shot on a m4/3 body.

It's sorted by native m4/3 mounts and adapted mounts
