Nikon D300 and GPS Setup

Thought I might show everyone a neat setup I put together. The GPS used to sit on the hot shoe making it impossible to open the flash. I thought to my self, self, how do I mount this GPS somewhere else. It did come with a strap mount but I think the cord constantly being flailed around can not be good for it. Then I saw this bracket online at B&H. If a flash can sit on the bracket why not the GPS. It works and the bracket makes holding the camera steady a little easier. Plus the flash mount is a locking type so the GPS does not fall off. The bracket is well made from machined aluminum and sturdy.

Clever. Those grips come in handy, if only to use as a grip.

Yep .... Got a Lab which likes to sleep on it. Not really dirty, just a lot of dog hair.
