For those of you who may have stayed at the Balsams in Dixville Notch, the Avatar is a picture of the hotel just before it closed.

I was hoping the Balsams had reopened. Their golf course is my favorite. Maybe in a few years.
This is a great site, I've seen pictures from Kauai, HI, Marco, FL, Death Valley and other favorite places.
If you're in Colebrook and the light is right, Beaver Brook Falls is a nice place to visit. It's not spectacular, but really nice in the right light.

Thanks for the tip. The Balsams has a new financial partner. The guy that owns Sunday River ski area along with Dan Hebert and Dan Dagasse from Colebrook. Things should begin to move forward.
