I just got my new Canon SX 50 and even it's cold here in Kansas City, I just
had to try it out tonight. The ISO was 160 and shutter speed was 160 also.
The star cluster is located right above the moon and is known as the Seven
Sisters or the Pleades. I am new here and I am 71 and a little dense so don't
know if I know how to upload pictures yet, but here goes. Thanks for looking.

Welcome Frizzen. It's good to know that neither age nor temperature stopped you from getting some quality camera time in. Number two is my favorite. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome! Great moon shots! The fact that you captured the stars is neat, too.
