I took this moon photo, from my backyard, using my Canon 60D camera body + my Dynamax 8 telescope (Prime Focus).
EXIF: ISO 100 at 1/80th second at f/10.0 (telescope aperture) Prime Focus, 9:48 pm (EST)/USA/Cincinnati, Ohio. Moon 45% Illumination at 45 degrees above the Horizon (+/-)

I need to learn how to do stacking to achieve better astrophotography results... I tried it a few times with one of those free stacking programs but my results were always worse then I could achieve with normal photography!

Excellent work. I hear what you say about stacking software. Some people get great results, but I've never mastered it.

I tried to get some more moon pics tonight (03-11-2014)... it was clear and dark... I carried my telescope tripod out, then the scope, then my equipment table, then an electrical extension cord, connected the camera to the scope, connected the camera to the laptop computer, and then the clouds rolled in... I checked the weather radar earlier and no clouds for miles... the clouds must have been thin enough not to show up on the radar... 20% chance of rain until 12:00, then jumps up to 60% after 12:00 with chance of thunder storms, and by 3:00 AM 90% chance of thunder storms... I broke everything down and brought it back into the house! This is the second time this has happened in the last 2 months! BUMMER!!! :(:(:(
