I work with boys like this every day, I have one 10 year old who just about every day begs me to be his daddy. Both of his parents died in a plane crash when he was 7. He goes through a routine ever time we talk.
Here's what he has to say to me " I'm a good boy, I do my chores, I don't eat much, I only have I toy, I'll sleep on the couch, I listen good, I'll do anything you want, just please be my daddy. To say he pulls on my heart strings is to say the least. Right now I have 9 of these little guys I mentor every day.
