I promised Rlaugh that I would post some pictures since it has been quite a long time since I have. Busy with work and trying to get my life scaled down. Too much stuff and I need to minimize. These shots were taken on the way to work a week or so ago. It was very foggy and cold and I loved the effect it gave the landscape. After I downloaded the shots, I noticed a dark looking blob on the right hand side of each photo. I went back and looked at pictures before and after I took these and the blob doesn't show up. Was wondering if anyone could offer an explanation. I have not cleaned the lens since then. I'm thinking it might have been condensation since I took the camera straight from my warm car out into the elements. Critique and criticism welcomed. I have tough skin and these are straight out of the camera. No PP.
Flocked tree and fog, lake in the background you can't see.

I thought that flocking went out in the 70's along with bell bottom jeans. These are really cool shots! No Critique necessary.

Thanks Tom! The second and third shot I took right off I-25 on the shoulder of the road. Not the smartest thing I have ever done, but I couldn't resist! ;-) Thanks for commenting. Cheers.
Love them! Beautiful and COLD.

Thanks for your comments. I think I would rather be in Florida though. Spring break and all.... :-) Cheers.

I for one are glad you did pull over. These are truly outstanding! I am also glad that you did not end up being road kill for cannibals.

All 3 are stunning shots. I wouldn't worry about the spot if it doesn't show in any other shots. Probably a speck of condensation that has already disappeared.

Thanks for commenting Cameranut. That spot was only on some of the shots that day, so I think you are right.

Thanks for taking a look. I have some other shots I'll be posting soon and I'll let you know. Seeing your avatar always gives me a smile. Lots more people are posting pictures of your kin and I love it. Raccoons are so interesting to me. Love the shots you posted recently. Cheers.

Either a water spot or dirt on the lens or dust on your sensor.
It won't show in every shot if it's on the lens, only at certain focal lengths. It's quite possibly still there...hence being intermittent...
really like the 2nd & 3rd shots :)
