Tempting, but I tried smaller cameras and went back to my DSLR. Of course, with the $250 I'd save, I could buy myself something nice.

Good point...16mp, AA filter-less quality in a small package...
I've taken shots with the X100S (same sensor) and printed them at 30 X 40 without loss of quality.
The bottom picture was taken by my X100s just for reference.

Sounded too good to be true but your last photo did show the lens so I had to ask. Good deal for someone going from XE1 to XE2. Good luck.
