Llamas have the most wonderful eyes and eyelashes. I have been on the receiving end of accurate spitting, so these aren't may favorite animal. I much prefer seeing them in someone else's photos. Thanks for sharing these lovely photos.

Hi Dave. I went back and looked at your shots. Do you do any PP to them? With just adding a few things you could make them pop a little more. Just add a little definition, vibrancy, and shadows. If you would like to see I can show you.:)

I've been procrastinating doing any PP, Erv. I picked up a D7000 and have spent a lot of time learning some of the features. The llamas were a quickie shoot and some were cute so I put them out. I'm getting ready for a 16 day stint inside Yellowstone toward the end of May and my goal is to learn enough to minimize PP. I will be shooting jpeg-fine with a raw backup for possible future use, as for now I'll start cropping and that'll probably be it. I appreciate your offer and feel free to massage anything I ever put out! My other goal is to not purchase any more lenses, but that Sigma 150-500 is appealing. (quote: "I have more guns and lenses than I need, but not nearly enough!" Something like that anyway.)

The first and last one are pretty good. The snow fooled the camera in the second one.:)

Here are two from the first post Dave. I don't do to much post on my shots, but a little tweak here and there really makes them pop. And I don't know how to do any of the fancy things the folks here do. But I want to learn. Just right now with work and everything else going on, no time to sit down and do it. I just use Aperture to do the small things right now. I would rather be out shooting right now. And I have a pretty good handle on the camera.:):)
Erv
I added definition, shadows and a little vibrance.

Erv, very good! I will eventually do a little "clean-up," maybe I'll call it crop and pop, haha! After spending so much time, it'll be worth the extra effort. Thank you for showing me a little clarity on my own shots!

Very well come Dave. It is always good to get it right in the camera. But you can always add a few little things to help them. I don't know much about post yet. I just crop and tweak right now.:):) Lucky I did film for a LONG time. So you had to get it right the first time.:):)
