Love the lens - sharpest that I've ever owned, but age has caught up with me. I can't hand hold it and need something with image stabilization and have bought the Tamron 24-70. The lens is in pristine condition - no dust scratches, nicks, etc. Paid $2,400 for it - will sell for $1,600 or best offer.

You're not going to like this, but one can buy a brand new one at Amazon.com for $1500.00, and a Used-Like New one for $989.99 The prices of non image stabilized lens have fallen regretfully low.

That's for the mark I, he is offering a mark II. $1889 on amazon

I'm afraid the other guy is right Bob. I think you are referring to the earlier model. This mark II price is in line with what they sell for.

Yes, it is. It is a fabulous lens and I hate to part with it, but as I said, in some situations, I can't hand hold it. If interested, please let me know.
