And seeing all the great Eagle pictures you people keep posting, I told myself, someday I'm going to capture an Eagle.
Well last week they delivered my new Olympus 4/3 mirrorless, it took 3 hours to charge the battery :? OK ready to go, find the ON button, turn the dial to AUTO, look around, what can I take my first picture of, lo & behold, sitting right there on top of my computer desk is my Eagle.

Being my first try I didn't expect much, hand held in dim light, just 2 lamps behind me.

The Olympus store (right now) have a really good price on the E-PL5 packaged with the 14-42 ll R lens, factory refurbished, been waiting almost a year for the refurbs to come out with that updated lens. I pulled the trigger on that as soon as they listed it, just in case they changed their mind. I did my good homework on that model, so I knew exactly what I wanted. Now that I've played with it for a week, I think it's time we learned to dance.
