By taking a long exposure, he can show the full round instead of just the lit portion........

I know not everybody is gonna like what I do all the time and I also know that I'm far from a professional photographer, but the big question on my mind is:
Why, what's the reason to look at a topic titled 'long exposure moon' if you know you don't like that kind of thing?
Maybe, if you want to see a highly detailed, science textbook type photo of the moon, you could check out the 'Astronomical Photography Forum.'
