I'm going to be taking some shots of a few cats tomorrow evening, inside a house, and am wondering which of my lenses to use. I have the Canon T3i with the following four lenses. I have a Sigma 18-250, Canon 17-85, Canon 18-55, or Canon 55-250. I'm leaning towards the Canon 17-85, cause I think it should give me fairly decent shots, especially if the cats are constantly moving as is their normal way of being. I have to get shots of the cats that can be blown up to 8x10 size. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Also any help with actual settings for camera would be of great help too. Thanks for all the comments in advance.
Why do you want to photograph inside of a cat?

Inside a house, not a cat's insides.
The only thing I can suggest is do not get close to the cats. They will run and keep running after that.
Does the expression 'herding cats' comes to your mind?
A small soft toy, stuffed with catnip, will keep them occupied and close. You can get some strange expressions from cats when they get a bit loopy.
Now you want to drug them???

Isn't a cat a typical coyote appetizer?
What are you using for lighting ?? You have very slow lenses !
