Brushgrove is a tiny village on the banks of the Clarence River. It was developed in the mid 1800's as a paddle boat freight port. It was a thriving town in the 'old days', but since the demise of the mighty river boats many years ago, it is now a small hamlet. It is a dairy farming area, but most of the working population drive to the nearby city of Grafton for work.
There are several original buildings still standing & most are heritage listed. The first two buildings were built around 1860-1870. Please feel free to download.
